By challenging the boundaries of realism and figuration, my paintings illustrate a concept of self that resists fixity, continually morphing within an ever-changing environment. Entities inhabit constructed realms of blurred airbrush and saturated colors. The motif of skin, acting as both a physical container and symbolic boundary, assumes a central role, embodying the dichotomy of permanence and permeability. The multiplication of the figure serves as a means to navigate the diverse facets of 'selves,' exploring our bodily connections to sexuality, queerness, and the impact of external relationships and the digital realm on our internal landscape.
