Parker Lily Tuson-Morse is a Canadian artist currently residing in New York. She received her BFA in Fine Arts from School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Her work pushes the limits of realism, sometimes made through traditional oil paint and canvas, other times through technological interventions such as laser engraved acrylic, or experimental photography. In her work, distorted figuration is employed as a way to traverse the many aspects of ‘selves,’ our bodily relationship to sexuality and queerness, and how external relationships and the digital realm influence our internal landscape.
Parker Lily’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including Toronto galleries Stephen Bulger and Northern Contemporary, the BuffaloAKG Museum, and the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston.
