The series shows grasses, trees, sky and a pond on icy winter days, in which the light makes the entire surroundings change in shades of gold. I capture the different light moods, which often only last for a few minutes and give nature a value and preciousness beyond the pure materiality of the individual elements. The individual plants seem to be covered in gold, reminding us all the more of the fleeting nature of things and their great value.
I shoot with my iPhone 15 Pro Max and use grease and liquids on my lens to achieve soft light and gentle colours. As a result, the shots always have a glow all of their own.
