I am interested in light and shapes. For the moment when the wind touches the field, when the air becomes dense and silver or the tree trunks black and wet. I love that everything turns red when you look into the backlight and like the moment when you no longer know whether you are at the bottom of the sea or the forest floor.
The photographs are always the result of a decision. Do I go out, where do I look, how far do I go, when do I go, do I turn round? Text and image are inseparable for me
I place the photograph in a context by producing, framing and titling it. Each image is given a title and each image is given a text, a poem. The poem is part of the overall work and is written by me especially for the respective picture.
