As I walk outside I constantly look at how the light shows up in my environment, which colors stand out, how forms interact and the character of each texture. With attention to these elements, I photograph natural scenery and man-made structures that strike me while wandering through cities and countrysides. Each captured image becomes the armature for me to digitally edit color, shadow and light, definition and crop. I continue to make and undo these adjustments until the final photograph renders the same beauty and intrigue I encountered on my walk.
