The series shows photographs taken on a freezing cold winter's day. The ground and the moss, the blueberries and ferns were covered in a fine frost. As I went for a walk, the sun was shining and bathed the whole forest in magical light. I photographed various scenes of the glitter and sparkle of the thawing frost on the forest floor. A universe of its own at our feet, if only we look closely.
I shoot with my iPhone 15 Pro Max and use grease and liquids on my lens to achieve soft light and gentle colours. The shots always have a glow all of their own.
