Zara Kand is an oil painter, animator, freelance art writer for venues such as Hi Fructose magazine and ArtNowLA, curator, art instructor, and editor of Adad Zine and The Gallerist Speaks. She was raised in Europe and has lived in the US for the greater part of her life, creating art since old enough to hold a pencil. She has exhibited throughout numerous venues within the US, as well as being featured internationally in many online and print publications. In 2022 She was shortlisted for the Women United Art Prize and nominated for The Joshuas Outstanding 2-dimensional artist.
