Wenjia Wang was born in China. Wang has been passionate about art since a very young age, she had been practicing traditional Chinese calligraphy from a very young age, which is considered fundamental for traditional Chinese ink brush painting, later it developed a distinct quality of my work which involves ink drawing lines. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2018 with an illustration major. And got her Master of Fine Arts degree in illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Wang is a member of the Society of Illustrators and she was awarded in professional illustration competitions, which include 3X3 Magazine, American Illustration, Graphics, and MoCCA. Wang's clients include Huawei, independent musicians, galleries, publications and local businesses.
