Tracy Maurice is a multidisciplinary artist who works in art, design & film. Her work has been exhibited at Lincoln Center Atrium (NYC), Nuit Blanche (Toronto), & the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, where she recently collaborated with Dana Michel as part of the Françoise Sullivan Exhibition. Her practice is a research-based, project-to-project approach that embraces material exploration & analog techniques often inspired by special effects from the early cinema, science, nature, & dance. Maurice was the Creative Director for Arcade Fire & created album artwork, music videos & live experiential content for the albums Funeral & Neon Bible. She has given lectures at Berklee College of Music & has been an artist-in-residence at Residency Unlimited (NYC), Ayatana Research Residency (Ottawa) & Art City (Winnipeg).
