Tomas Olsen is a still life photographer based in Helsinki, Finland. Through simplicity and elegant use of light, he brings his subjects to life. He has a keen eye for composition and form.

For Olsen, photography is a tool for documentation. He builds small installations out of different objects that he then documents through photography. These small installations can be viewed as self-portraits.
