Hi, my name is Sara Lee. I’m a Brooklyn-based illustrator and graphic designer living with my partner and two cats. I paint portraits to explore the multifaceted nature of human emotion. I often draw inspiration from the complex and sometimes conflicting range of feelings that I experience. I’m drawn to using bold colors and shapes to express and capture the mood. The juxtaposition of brighter colors next to subdued forms reflects emotional complexity.
