As a child I actually wanted to become an archaeologist. In my youthful imagination digging in the earth had something adventurous for me. I am interested in history, myths and legends. I want to understand the meaning of this history. Photography has therefore become a 'tool' for me to dig into history and cultures. Escaping my own mundane everyday life, i seek connection with others through my work.

By doing this in a playful and colourful manner, together with the communities I work with; "where nothing seems what it is". Like a self created history.
Though always emphatically and respectfully with people and their stories.
