Sensitive to death and the caducity of reality; curious and attracted to the unknown, I’m interested in the fragility of human nature. Photography, video and performance have proven to be a privileged means by which to detect patterns of intrinsic meaning to reality. I love telling visual and auditory stories, especially metaphorical, in an attempt to tear the veil of the obvious in order to probe the inner abysses of the human being and investigate its fragility.
I was born in Bergamo and now I live in Lausanne. I studied photography at LABA in Florence. I attended an one-year postgraduate specialisation degree in MOVIES - Moving Images Arts at Iuav in Venice. After one year as an artist-in-residence at FABRICA research centre in Treviso and six month as a photographer for Benetton group I'm enrolled in ECAL photography.
