I am an Iranian multidisciplinary artist born in Iran 1983 and based in Paris since 2011.
Focusing originally on visual arts, then evolved into film, video, illustration, animation and photography
M work is marked by the paradoxical political and social context in which I grew up in Tehran and the experience of living in France. However, this is not the only perspective through which I see the world and I hope that this influence remains subtle and secondary, in order to develop complex personal projects, of which my origin is not the central pivot. In my latest projects, I was interested in the moment, the transitional space between two states or two ideas, through the filter of perception. For that, I carried out a technical research aimed at marrying mediums to celebrate the idea of “poetry of the poor image”.
