Natalie Berger is a freelance filmmaker, photographer, and writer based in the Pacific Northwest. Her work seeks to uncover the relationship between people and their surrounding landscape and is guided by themes of place, home, and advocacy for sustainable food production.
She has directed several short films, including Closure (Trinity Film Festival, 2020) a short documentary about the closure of two Planned Parenthood clinics in Cincinnati, Ohio. Additionally, her photography has been featured in Vogue and Vanity Fair.
Natalie is currently co-directing "Upstream", a documentary film that plunges into the wild salmon ecosystem of Southeast Alaska, tracing three interweaving threads: a fisherwoman, a conservationist, and the fish that bind them.
