Marta Revillas was born in Toledo. She studied at Fine Arts in Madrid, she carried out different artistic projects such as Viaje (2008), Ravearte (2009), although the most notable part of her training period were her first performances and installations of the Chic Chickens project, these sculptural objects transformed into artistic tools allude to traditional rituals. In 2010 she moved to Ireland, where she lived for 5 years. She carried out an artistic residency at the Cill Rialaig Arts Center, Co.Kerry, where she traced the Viaje’s project into I Love Petrol. In 2016, she moved to Bizkaia where she currently resides, she developed the Transformed Landscape project. She is currently doing mural work with the aim of rehabilitating areas of rural towns that are forgotten, as well as the project Motherhood: unforgettable moments.
