Leonard Reidelbach’s work spirals around the relational, perceptual, and material complications of embodiment. Cruising across material and motifs, he brings big color and fluid movement towards concerns of functionality, privacy, and desire. Generating from narratives of community and his relationship to place through a trans lens, he builds outside-in environments, almost-usable objects, and imagery concerning human intimacy. Formal deviations in craft live somewhere between a poetic and functional stab at alternate futurity. By creating variations in motifs and repeating patterns, he begins to engage an infinite potential of past and future realities.
