Lauren Crazybull is a Blackfoot, Dene portrait artist working out of Edmonton Alberta. Her focus is on returning the gaze back to the viewer via her portraits that depict contemporary Indigeneity. Lauren was recently chosen to be Alberta's first Artist in Residence.
