I was born in Les Cayes, Haiti, to a doctor who specialized in pediatrics. I was raised in the third and only flat city of the country, filled with beaches, and occasionally, he would make trips to the countryside for vacation, where my grandparents lived. I started drawing before I could read, write, or even said my first word as a child. Until my high school years, my life was spent in Haiti, and then I moved to the United States to focus on my higher education, and it was not long until my Journey took me around the world for inspiration, and now I live in beautiful San Francisco. I aim to show women as role models to young girls through my work, so capturing the beauty of the woman’s body means exploring everything that makes it perfect, from the twists to the pores, the way muscle, bone and skin affect each other.
