Kayleigh MacDonald is a lens-based artist working in the fields of performance, fine art, and land-based alternative photographic processes. She is in her fourth year of the BFA program at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she majors in Photography with a minor in Crafts and Material Studies. MacDonald’s work is featured in national and international juried exhibitions, including the National Queer Artists Invitational, Exposure, and the 2021 Open Art Festival. Her work lives online and in print, in such magazines as Gelatin, Pwatem and The Hand. This past summer MacDonald was awarded a three-month studio residency by the Anderson gallery at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she now works as a member of a curatorial team.
