Jamil Fatti is an artist and landscape architect based in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and has exhibited his work widely, including Microscope Gallery in New York City, Filter Space in Chicago, and the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center. His recent work explores the creation of “meaning” in relation to intersubjectivity, the poetics of love and loss, and the interplay between temporality, death, and futility. Jamil’s photography reconstitutes fragments from the external world into scenes that reflect subjective inner realities, with figures serving as portals to deeper symbolic meanings. His work is part of several public and private collections, including the RISD Museum in Providence, Rhode Island.
