Isabella Rose Nelson (b. 1987, High Wycombe, U.K) is a British conceptual artist making abstract sculpture and work on paper using found objects and materials alongside more traditional crafts and techniques. Producing work in a variety of media including resin, handmade paper, drawing, words, textiles, and embroidery, and using techniques such as weaving and decorative knot tying. Her textile-based work uses material investigations to look at the relationship between nature and culture, and the ways in which industrial civilization and the breakdown of cultural narrative permeates psyche and place.
