In my artwork, I am primarily an experimenter, though an unorthodox one; when I make I start with an image and then break it down. I ask questions related to how it’s seen, felt, experienced and how it functions in the greater scheme of communicated ideas. As the world has grown to be more interconnected so has its since of imagery.
Though I do not see the experience of images as strict set of experiences in common culture they are often seen as such and treated as separate languages of their own. As such, the bulk of my work explores the greater realms of painting, photography, video work and sometimes sculpture by proxy making me an interdisciplinary artist. Through this, I use methods of internal image-related references to question images as a whole and critique what purpose they serve in our society
