XianghanCheng(b.1994 China, is an abstract painter inspired by urban landscapes and music. Based in Elmhurst, NY, Cheng blends his Chinese heritage with U.S. experiences. He earned a BFA from the Academy of Art University (2020) and MFA at the California College of the Arts (2024). His works reinterpret city textures, graffiti, and rhythms through bold shapes and layers. Cheng has exhibited in the U.S. and China, including SOMARTS, Wattis institute for contemporary arts in San Francisco. Awards include the Murphy & Cadogan Contemporary Art Award (2023) and Abstract Art Award (2020).
