I make use of evocations to create stories, in those stories I contemplate the personal meaning of subjects that have my current interest. These works of art are a way to process, integrate and communicate the hidden meaning of life, however, the part I enjoy the most is listening to what the viewer sees in the piece because it is usually a projection of themselves. My preference of paper as a medium is due to my fascination of how this common item, that many times ends up as garbage, can transform into something unique, worthy and beautiful through the arduous process of evolution. Paper in my practice is not only a material, it is also a symbol.
