Basak KILICBEYLI (Ba-shak Kuh-luhch-bey-lee) is a Philadelphia-based Mediterranean artist who works mainly with textiles. She received her BFA in Graphic Design from Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey in 2017. A few years later in France, she pursued her teenage dream and moved to Philadelphia to receive her master's degree. She graduated from the Studio Art MFA program in the PAFA in 2021. She's currently living and working in Philadelphia, PA. She has exhibited at FRIEDA, Da Vinci Art Alliance, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art besides other local galleries, and participates in the permanent collection of Woodmere Art Museum.
