I’m Ar Lhao (Thanachot Thongrak), a still-life photographer with a background in New Media Communication. My passion for documentary work, especially in exploring contemporary social issues, has shaped my approach to photography. After spending four years in the creative advertising industry, I returned to my true calling—storytelling through still-life photography.
For me, still-life photography is more than just composition and lighting; it’s a way to uncover hidden meanings in ordinary objects and connect them to larger social and environmental narratives. I use still-life as a visual language to tell stories, much like documentary photography, questioning the fragility of ecosystems and the complex relationship between humans and nature.
