Angela is a Toronto based portrait photographer. Some of her clients include The New York Times, Rolling Stone and The Globe & Mail. Her personal work explores memory, family dynamics, and bodies in relation to space. Angela recently created “Places We’ve Never Been” —a series of mature women in natural environments that explores grief and loss based on memories of her late grandmother. The series was recently featured in the Spring 2023 issue of The Walrus, and is currently being shown in a solo exhibition at Gallery 44 in May 2024 during the Contact Photography Festival in Toronto. Angela co-founded the photography collective SOFIA in 2016, which created a space for women to make and discuss personal photo projects. She currently mentors emerging photographers.
