Ana Drucker (b. Mexico City, 1991), graduated with a B.A in Art and Design at Escola Massana, Barcelona in 2016. She currently lives and works in Barcelona.
My work explores the value of color as a physical sensation, as well as its correlation with the cultural, subjective, private and non-transferable character of the chromatic experience. Likewise, color assumes a mystical, memorial, symbolic and spiritual charge.
My practice is focused on visual experimentation, color analysis and perception through materic deconstruction and the possibilities that range between the analog and digital realm. The use of technology as a tool to enhance plastic and artisanal methods and as a support to develop hybrid practices that increase and transform the materials in the digital plane.
