My work is a journey of rediscovery. After personal exploration, I returned to old sketchbooks where my creative aspirations were saved. These pages had taken on a worn, wrinkled character, reflecting dreams I’d left behind. Revisiting them allowed me to reconnect with my identity and values. The Wrinkled Paper series grew from this, transforming memories into paintings that search for new clarity.
Wrinkled paper suggests frustration from afar, but a closer look reveals calm. Each wrinkle symbolizes a thought or dream, familiar yet strangely unfamiliar.
I hope that, as viewers engage with these pieces, they find a sense of balance and harmony. I want them to linger, taking in each piece as though exploring forgotten memories—much like recalling a dream you once had but can no longer fully remember.
