I'm seriously worried about how we use oil. It's transformed into shiny plastics that becomes cosmetics, clothes cars, electronic devices, and packaging. As good as everything we buy is wrapped up in plastics. Sometimes several layers. We overconsume plastics and know very little of something that's potentially a huge threat to us. That caught my interest and made me start all this.
During one year I collect all of our packaging plastics in red bags. I bring them to places in nature that I care for. Each month I take a new photo of nature with red blasters. A portrait of the always growing mountain of plastics. Because this is where it all ends up. Either as microplastics or carbon dioxide.
This is my way of making the invisible visible.
