The mountains have always been places of inspiration and reflection, their grandeur seemingly unyielding. Yet now, the permafrost that binds the slopes of Mont Blanc is melting, leading to more frequent rockfalls. By documenting the town and its attractions, I aimed to capture the elements that make Chamonix so popular while reflecting on its changing landscape. It is a joy to sit beneath these giants, and their beauty should continue to captivate and inspire. However, the critical question remains: how will alpine tourism adapt to the growing impacts of climate change? As the landscape reshapes, Chamonix stands as a vivid testament to these changes.
