In my artwork, I seek to express the ephemeral nature of consumer goods. I explore this consumption through colourful still lifes presented like advertising. In our society, where technology has increased the speed of services and algorithms make it easier to purchase, feelings and relationships have become consumable like the items we buy. We purchase goods hoping that they will make us happy, but often this satisfaction is short lived. Through my work, I question whether we're buying emotions by purchasing goods.
