’We’re Here If You Need Us’ follows my family’s life and work on their cattle farm. The project is an intimate look into one family’s journey through life’s hardships and their pursuit of happiness through the slow-paced simplicity cattle farming offers. The title comes from my parent’s attachment to their place, “We love you but you’ll have to come to us.” This stance comes from a care taking need to be near the animals but there’s a deeper anxiety they have towards the world outside of their bubble.
