This series was created in Taipei, Taiwan at a location called Wanli UFO Village. An abandoned beachside village lined with decaying Futuro and Venturo houses.
Trying to find data on this site has been rather limited, however, according to a few sources online The Futuro houses, designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen, resemble flying saucers and reportedly less than 10 authentic Venturos exist - but there are more than 10 in this location. Adding to the mystery is that this might be knockoffs of Suuronen's design.
The park is an abandoned, midcentury time capsule. Still entrenched with an array of mystery and a glimmer into the past.
