We will go for a walk... separately, yet connected by the sound of our voices. When we are done, you will see us from far above, yet hear us nearby. Next time, we hope you will join us.
In daily life, we walk with blinders on to block out... what, exactly?
As we walk these blinders gently fall away and we reconnect with what is immediately around us.
We become more aware of our physical environment and the other people in it.
We become kinder and more sensitive to what is happening in ourselves and in others.
We walk to find a common denominator, a connection that is pure. Not through mutual understanding, which is impossible but by being present and open, and willing to participate. We lend, we borrow, we trust, we accept.
