My work conveys my own truth and emotions as I am inspired by the encounter of the beauty and the strangeness which can be found in people, nature, colors, and in death. It’s all about moments that came to life with no preconceived form. A photograph might not always be what it seems. Whilst the portraits manifest freedom, lightness, and spontaneity, some of the landscapes present beauty out of the ordinary. Meanwhile, other personal work relates to my identity and to whom I have become. They embody my past and my present where for example the subject of Death is openly explored.
I dig into the banal and every day in the composition of expanding micro-narratives which no longer concern only the people directly involved, acquiring metonymic contours. Visually my work narrates a time, a generation, a way of thinking.
