Versus

In my recent years, I noticed how I observe my life in relation to religious terms. What does it look like to break free from our upbringing with our subconscious attachment to what we have ingrained versus surrendering to something in order to move us- could they mean the same thing?
In order to understand, I view the contrasts in my images as a way of building up from the previous, creating a photographic poem of the ways our pain, faith and grief shapes us overtime.
