Through focused photography, I aim to explore these non-human inhabitants, questioning the blurred boundaries between the world we control and the natural world persisting within it. As cities expand and nature recedes, animals become domesticated, reduced to emotional tools for human comfort. This project seeks to provoke reflection on this evolving relationship, creating a visual dialogue on coexistence. By observing these “urban residents,” I explore how they adapt to our spaces, and how their presence, dependence, and our shifting stewardship of nature shape us in return.
