I've been listening to Tycho's music since my 15th, so I was pretty star struck when he suddenly stood next to me in San Fransisco. I failed to contain myself and expressed my love for his tunes, giving him my details in the hope to collaborate sometime.
Fast forward 6 months - He asks me to create a video for his title track 'Weather', on his Grammy nominated album Weather! I obviously said yes and put my all into this passion project.
Concept:
For many years I put on Tycho's tracks at every take off. Flying can feel like a time capsule, a space between what's left behind and what's to come. Time seems to be standing still. The outside world distant and abstract.
This video illustrates that surreal feeling I get.
