Television is something that Americans have welcomed into their homes for decades. The bearers of bad news, good tidings, and a barrage of advertising sandwiched in between. A steadfast centerpiece in the home of which people depend on for entertainment and current events. Once an intimate friend mirroring our gaze as long as we did, now out on its ass and on display for all of our neighbors to see. This series explores the things we throw away, via possessions we no longer deem worthy. The objective is to reexamine television's physical form by changing the context in which the object is viewed, and observe TV sets as a direct reflection of consumerism.
