Traces is my photographic interpretation of the rural condition from a fragmented point of view. It is not solely an exploration of this specific kind of man-altered landscape, rather it is an indexical view of changes over time. Pictured in the southeast, I document this specific landscape and the details within it in order to try and understand this ever changing and understated condition in the American landscape.
