I am interested with landscapes and how one makes visible the worlds we perceive. In this work, I wanted to explore the idea of topography. Topography is the study of land features and surfaces. It usually represents lands on maps where lines and circles-like shapes create volumes. With this work, the idea was to use the technique of topography to represent reliefs and shapes and to give birth to a landscape that feels alive and has its own narrative, thus showing dimensions not captured by topography. Lines are minimalistic yet expressive tools that convey not only objective information like the land features but also a specific aesthetic and the story that makes a territory.
