In the world of giant vegetable growing, there are two dominant British figures: Ian Neale and Peter Glazebrook. Each holding multiple world records, they have perfected their mysterious growing techniques over the previous two decades.
In June 2023, I visited them both as they tended to their seedlings. Returning in September 2023, I captured them digging up their mutant vegetables, and spent another day with them at the Autumn Three Counties Show, the most prestigious and competitive event in British giant vegetable growing calendar.
