I have an ongoing photo series entitled "Verses in my Mind" where I use song lyrics as inspiration for self portraits. This one uses the lyrics "My heart is looking at maps, it's scheming how to get back." I love maps and had been collecting them for a long time without a plan of what to do with them. The only photoshop in this image was taking the tape off the ceiling as I hung them all with fishing line. Although this band no longer exists, it's still one of my all-time favorites out of DC back in the early 2000's.
