Dear Booooooom,
Thank you for the opportunity to submit to your publication. Although I do not have any professional or college experience, I have been drawing, and writing poetry and stories for all of my life. Recently I have decided to pursue this seriously. I have a desire to help people embrace the whimsical nature of life. And through my 37 years of experience facing the challenges of young adulthood, as a married person, and now a father with 3 children, I have firsthand experience with the joys and sorrows of life. These I have translated and vanquished into an abstract and humorous art style that will entertain and teach a lesson. My method is to take samples from Vintage or antique books, deface and collage them, and draw and color a central or bordered illustration over these.
