I first really got into art when I was 23. I had just gone back to college and was studying math and science when I decided to take an art class for myself. It was the beginning of the journey to find myself. 10 years later, here I am, incredibly thankful that each day I get to continue exploring life with my own internal guide.
My method of creating is to trust and do. Its about being myself and discovering through putting in the work. There are scary times when I don't know what to do. It can be confusing. Other times it is exhilarating as I am wide-awake and painting at full speed. I can even get naturally high from painting.
Life is uncertain. But painting has taught me to trust in myself. It has shown me that there is enough and more within me. It's about connecting with that source inside.
