The Silver Ship on a Red Sea is a collection of images made in Paris over the course of 10 days in January. With Paris engulfed in tension and protest, I sought to find quiet moments amongst the chaos. Working mostly in the brisk morning hours before the city awakened fully, these images reflect the delicate and objective beauty of the city and it’s inhabitants. We see silhouettes and distant figures, and empty cars and shops, the city all the while playing the silent protagonist.
