The Noise in my Head

Sometime during the mid 80’s I smashed my ears seeing the Hoodoo Gurus (old school catchy pop/rock-check them out) play live a couple of nights in a row and spent the next week almost completely deaf, nodding and smiling at any question with no idea what anyone was saying. More gigs, more ear bashing and a few years on, what I thought was a noise everyone heard turns out to be in my head. A constant, endless high pitched ringing. Tinnitus.
Tinnitus is a noise in your head with no external source. If you’ve been to see live music you might have had it, but it probably went away. For some it never goes away, and for a few it it’s really distressing. If you have it and it bothers you, you can get help.

These images describe my sound. My constant companion. The noise in my head.
