A game between delicate lines and bold forms, balance and movement, resulting in something lovely and yet powerful and iconic. My admiration for aesthetic and the written word are the driving force behind my need to create a visual language that is whimsical but also quite literal. The mediums I use are of secondary importance and serve to illustrate the need of the idea. Sometimes hand carved linoleum prints and sometimes digitally produced typography bring an essence and varying texture to the monochromatic work I produce.
